Pumpkin Carving Time!

Yesterday, Mrs. Harper's class carved a pumpkin, and each student got a handful of seeds from the pumpkin to count.  There were 473 pumpkin seeds within our pumpkin! Wow!  Please enjoy the pictures and a video of the pumpkin carving.

La Feria de la Hispanidad 2015

We had a great day celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at our Spanish Fair today! Our students were so well behaved and enjoyed all the performances in the sanctuary.  They enjoyed seeing the traditional Spanish dances of their fellow students, along with hearing a performance from the world-renowned pianist Raul Di Blasio! The students came dressed in traditional Spanish outfits or soccer jerseys.  Enjoy the pictures of our class below!

Boo!!!! FINAL Halloween Costume Drive Announcement!

We had our final Halloween costume drive announcement this morning at flag salute.  Students from our class sang "Scary Things Don't Frighten Me!".  Please take a look at two of our pictures below.  We will have the video recording up on the blog (along with all the other video recordings of past announcements) as soon as we can! Please be on the look out for a future post with those videos.

Mrs. Harper and I are so proud of our first graders and how they did on their announcements over the last few weeks!

Boo!!!
